Safety risks may come in many forms for a person with an intellectual disability, from the dangers of crossing the road without recognizing traffic signs to the threats of entrusting their safety to a stranger. At Apex Residential Support and Services, we teach our residents the essential safety skills to optimize their safety in whatever situations they face.
For our Safety Skills program, we introduce topics concerning community safety, such as:
